Child care and early education services support both parents’ employment and children’s learning. Urban’s research provides insights on families’ child care and early education arrangements; assesses and informs such public supports as child care subsidies, early education programs, and tax policies; and explores how child care and early education services and systems intersect with other key supports for children and families.
