Racial inequality in the workplace and in the labor market has led to higher unemployment, lower wages, occupational segregation, and limited career advancement for many people of color. Urban pursues work that promotes stronger connections to equitable employment opportunities by examining skill-building, employer practices, and regulatory policies.
