Several federal government agencies and two government-sponsored enterprises insure, guarantee, regulate, and oversee the activities of the $39 trillion housing finance ecosystem. Urban analyzes the impact of proposed and actual legislative and regulatory changes within these agencies and recommends how these agencies can better support equitable access to homeownership.
