The prospect of Amazon coming to the greater Washington area has caused alarm about its potential impact on housing affordability. And while our challenges are real, we are not San Francisco or Seattle. As I say in my recent column for the Washington Business Journal, I believe Amazon’s HQ2 presents an opportunity for affordable housing advocates, local housing officials, and the business community to support strategies that will better meet the needs of families at all income levels.
