Kevin Werner is a research associate in the Income and Benefits Policy Center at the Urban Institute. He helps run the center’s TRIM3 model, a microsimulation model that simulates major government tax and transfer programs and allows researchers to see the effects of various policy changes. He has dual degrees in economics and political science from American University and a master’s degree in applied economics from Georgetown University.
