Emily Burroughs is a research analyst in the Health Policy Division at the Urban Institute. She earned degrees in global health and psychology from Duke University. For her capstone project, Burroughs developed an intervention targeting anxiety and depression among Latinx adolescents in North Carolina public schools. In addition, she has interned with Curamericas Global and El Futuro, a mental health clinic for Latinx families.
