Equitable development
Economic investment and growth frequently benefit those who already have power and wealth, but they can displace and further disadvantage communities who have been subjected to racist, discriminatory, or exclusionary policies and practices. Urban’s research and technical assistance help community development practitioners and residents design, advocate for, implement, and measure efforts to promote development that reverses inequity.
