This guide presents an array of strategies for connecting justice-involved people to Medicaid coverage and physical and behavioral health care services. Designed to address the specific health care needs unique to justice-involved people, the guide provides a comprehensive road map for state and local justice and health care officials aspiring to more efficiently enroll justice-involved people in Medicaid or other health care coverage and help them obtain coordinated care in the community.
