Brett Theodos, senior fellow, testified before the US House Select Committee on Economic Disparity and Fairness in Growth on how to address the fundamental noncyclical needs of small businesses. The testimony summarized the ways federal, state, and municipal policymakers can expand access to capital for small businesses—particularly those underserved and facing higher barriers, enhance the provision of technical assistance, create and implement sensible regulatory oversight, and collect and publish better data on small business lending and investments.
