In response to the Department of Transportation’s request for information on its 2024 update to its equity action plan, Urban experts provided feedback on metrics the Department has proposed using to measure progress toward equity in its 2023 equity action plan. The authors provided comments on the metrics corresponding to DOT’s strategies for Wealth Creation; Proactive Intervention, Planning, and Capacity Building; and Expanding Access.
