This brief sheds light on trends in government grants and contracts awarded to nonprofits, including nonprofits’ discussions with government officials about this funding, the percentage of nonprofits that sought or applied for and received it, and the percentage of nonprofit revenue that came from government agencies. It is part of the Nonprofit Trends and Impacts Study.
