This brief describes the current state of data integration, or the extent to which data are available within a workflow to support the insight needed for patient care, analytics, and reporting without additional effort by the user. Within this context, the brief identifies technological, organizational and environmental facilitators of and barriers to integrating data exchanged between trading partners into workflows.
