There are pronounced inequities and disparities in the social sector infrastructure with respect to race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability status, geographic location, and institutional type, among other characteristics. This discussion guide is for executive directors, CEOs, and other leaders of social sector infrastructure organizations who are concerned about those inequities. The purpose of this guide is to help these leaders plan the actions they can take to reduce inequities by diversifying their leadership and staff and serving diverse communities.

This discussion guide is part of a series intended to strengthen the support system for the social sector, which we refer to as the social sector infrastructure. To view other guides geared toward users, providers, and funders of the social sector infrastructure, visit urbn.is/45OyieF.
