Abstract
This article, from Health Affairs, shows that rising uninsurance is related to unemployment, changes in employment patterns, and rising health care costs. Two-thirds of those who lost insurance coverage in 2000-2002 were low-income adults, although job losses have affected those in the middle- and higher-income categories.
