But according to Kassandra Martinchek, a wealth and financial well-being expert at the Urban Institute, today's young people face “some challenges that may not have been present for other cohorts of young people.” In an interview with The Guardian, Martinchek describes how young adults are “navigating a whole new context” that includes less-reliable income and other cost pressures.
