Zhané Moledina is a research assistant in the Health Policy Division at the Urban Institute. She works on the Reproductive Health Experiences and Access Study—which examines how reproductive health care access and experiences have shifted following the US Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization—and a statewide evaluation of California’s Guaranteed Basic Income Pilot Program.
Before joining Urban, Moledina interned at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, where she provided research and technical assistance to state advocates working to strengthen Temporary Assistance for Needy Families programs. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Pitzer College.
Moledina also serves as a consultant with KD Strategic Advocacy & Consulting and is a fellow with ScholarCHIPS, a nonprofit organization that provides college scholarships to children of incarcerated parents.
