Victoria Nelson is a policy associate in the Work, Education, and Labor Division at the Urban Institute, focusing on K–12 education policy issues. Her research interests include equitable school funding formulas, desegregation policies, graduation rate improvements for underserved students, and free and reduced-price meal distribution in schools.

Before joining Urban, Nelson interned with Richmond Public Schools in the Office of School Planning. She earned a BA in political science and economics from Villanova University and completed her MPP at the University of Virginia.
