Teddy Maginn is a research assistant in the Housing and Communities Division at the Urban Institute. His research interests include landlord-tenant law, housing affordability, land use, and community revitalization strategies.

Before joining Urban, Maginn worked for the Wilson Sheehan Lab for Economic Opportunities, where he helped conduct impact evaluations of antipoverty interventions related to homelessness, education, and health care access. He also worked with the Fair Housing Center of Central Indiana to examine how landlord-tenant deregulation influences tenant health and housing outcomes.

Maginn graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor's degree in economics and applied mathematics. His honors thesis analyzed the effects of a federal housing rehabilitation program on neighborhood housing and demographic outcomes.
