Taidgh H. McClory, a nonresident fellow in the Housing and Communities Division at the Urban Institute, is the founder and managing principal of THM Advisors, an impact-focused advisory firm that helps public agencies, foundations, and mission-aligned real estate partners design shared ownership and equitable investment strategies that turn development and community assets into long-term wealth-building platforms. At Urban, he collaborates with the Center for Local Finance and Growth on evidence-based equitable development research and strategies related to mission finance, place-based development, and wealth-building tools.

With more than 25 years of experience across commercial real estate, economic development, and cross-sector strategy, McClory advises clients on capital innovation, governance, and implementation approaches that align investment with community priorities. He previously served as director of social impact and inclusion for MP Boston and as managing director and partner at CBRE/New England, where he led regional sales management, business development, and civic engagement across New England.

McClory serves on the board of directors for Massachusetts Port Authority and the investment committee of the Boston Impact Initiative fund. He is an active member of the Real Estate Executive Council, the Urban Land Institute, and Smart Growth America’s LOCUS coalition of responsible real estate investors. McClory earned a BA from Dartmouth College.
