Storm Ervin is a technical assistance manager in the Justice Policy Center at the Urban Institute and an emerging expert on domestic violence, gun violence, and prison sexual violence victimization. She has a decade of experience that includes direct service, research, and technical assistance provision. She has extensive experience leading national, local, and multisite research and evaluations. The common thread through all her work is exploring solutions to violence and victimization. Ervin frequently speaks to audiences around the country on topics related to domestic violence, intimate partner violence, interventions for people who cause harm, and how these areas intersect with racial injustice. She is affiliated with the National Battering Intervention Network.
