Storm Ervin, MPP, is a research analyst in the Urban Institute’s Justice Policy Center, where she conducts research and evaluations on multidisciplinary justice projects. She currently manages several projects that deal with evaluating trauma-informed care and victim services for women who are incarcerated throughout the country, assessing how the justice system responds and makes determinations for people who use violence against their intimate partners and assessing the process and impact of organizations that serve families effected by domestic violence. Additionally, she plays an integral role in the Center for Victim Research, funded by the Office of Victims of Crime, by coleading the Elder Abuse Research and Practice Evidence synthesis, helping to inform a database of victimization screening and assessment tools and providing technical assistance to victim service providers throughout the country.
