Sophie McCauley is a research assistant in the Housing and Communities Division at the Urban Institute. Her research interests include affordable housing development, transportation mobility, and disaster recovery. Before joining Urban, she conducted research and analysis for clients in both the market-rate and affordable housing sectors. She holds a bachelor's degree in sociology and global politics with a minor in data science from Washington and Lee University.
