Shruti Nayak is a policy analyst in the Center on Labor, Human Services, and Population at the Urban Institute, where she focuses on apprenticeships and workforce development. Nayak was awarded for her undergraduate thesis work on improving deliberative forums between members of Congress and their constituents. Before joining Urban, she interned at the Brookings Institution in the Governance Studies program. Nayak graduated summa cum laude with honors from the Ohio State University, earning a BA in political science and public policy analysis.
