Biography
Nathan Joo is a research analyst in the Income and Benefits Policy Center at the Urban Institute, where he focuses on social safety net policy and contributes to the From Safety Net to Solid Ground initiative.
Before joining Urban, Joo was a research assistant at the Brookings Institution’s Economic Studies Program in the Center on Children and Families. He holds a BA in mathematical economic analysis and policy studies from Rice University.
