Miranda Santillo is a policy program manager in the Family and Financial Well-Being Division at the Urban Institute, where she works on wealth and financial well-being initiatives. Before joining Urban, Santillo served as a financial empowerment coordinator for the City of Rochester, New York, where she helped bring innovative wealth-building solutions to city residents. She has also worked to increase behavioral health supports and antipoverty solutions in Chicago.

Santillo graduated from Cornell University with a bachelor’s degree in human development and holds a master’s degree in social work and social policy from the University of Chicago.
