Mica O’Brien is a research analyst in the Metropolitan Housing and Communities Policy Center at the Urban Institute. Her research interests include public housing, safety net programs, and social and economic mobility.

Before joining Urban, O'Brien worked on a cross-sector initiative for the Council of Large Public Housing Authorities, a nonprofit membership organization that represents large public housing authorities across the country. O’Brien holds a BA in history and American studies from Princeton University.
