Lindsey Tyson is a training and technical assistance coordinator in the Work, Education, and Labor Division at the Urban Institute. Her work and research are largely centered around apprenticeship-based projects. Tyson’s work focuses on building new occupational frameworks, helping employers navigate apprenticeship registration, and emphasizing the effectiveness of apprenticeship as a tool for greater workforce development. Before joining Urban, Tyson was an apprenticeship training representative for the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development. Tyson holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and is enrolled in the Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations pursuing a master’s degree in labor and employment relations.
