Leandra Lacy is a training and technical assistance specialist in the Research to Action Lab at the
Urban Institute. She supports the design and delivery of tailored technical assistance and the management of communities of practice.
Before joining Urban, Lacy worked in university, clinic, and nonprofit settings on sexual and reproductive health research, education, programming, and capacity building. Her passions include STI/HIV prevention, maternal health, community health, racial equity, and health equity.
Lacy has a BA in women’s studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with minors in chemistry and African American studies, and an MPH in behavioral sciences and health education from Emory University.
