Kristin Blagg
Principal Research Associate
Center on Education Data and Policy

Kristin Blagg is a principal research associate in the Center on Education Data and Policy at the Urban Institute. Her research spans K–12 and higher education, with a focus on funding and finance policy. In higher education, Blagg has conducted studies on student loans, federal and state grant aid, and measurement of return on investment. In K12 education, she has led work on the measurement of student need, funding formulas, and on projecting the long-run returns to educational investments.

In addition to her work at Urban, she is pursuing a PhD in public policy and public administration at the George Washington University. Blagg holds a BA in government from Harvard University, an MSEd from Hunter College, and an MPP from Georgetown University.
