The Urban Institute is a leader in promoting and supporting health equity. After 35 years of practicing law in the private sector, I am applying my skill set in working toward securing access to health care by all. Health care is a human right.

Kerry H. Wallace is a nonresident fellow in the Health Policy Division at the Urban Institute and a team member of the Urban Institute–Georgetown Law Project on Health Equity and the Law, an initiative to develop strategies for reducing racial and ethnic disparities in health care. Her focus centers on application of the law to achieve health equity and accessibility for marginalized populations.

Wallace is a partner with Goodman and Wallace P.C., a civil litigation and transactional law firm in Colorado. She has practiced law for 34 years in the private sector. She is a candidate for a master of laws in global and domestic health law at Georgetown University Law Center. Wallace has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and a law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law.
