John Wong is a research analyst in the Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center at the Urban Institute. Before joining Urban, he worked at PolicyEngine, the Mercatus Center, and the Progressive Policy Institute. He is experienced in microsimulation, agent-based modeling, discrete-choice models, and time series methods. Wong holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from the University of Hong Kong and a master’s degree in economics from George Mason University, where he was an outstanding graduate honoree.
