Jeffrey Stoike is an affiliated scholar in the Center on Nonprofits and Philanthropy at the Urban Institute. His research focuses on philanthropic responses to domestic policy shifts on climate change, international philanthropy, and place-based impact investing. Stoike has extensive experience advising nonprofits and social enterprise start-ups, particularly in sustainable resource management and social impact. He holds a BA from the University of California, Berkeley; an MS from the University of Georgia; and a PhD in international sustainable development policy from Yale University.
