Ian Hecker is a research assistant in the Income and Benefits Policy Center at the Urban Institute. He primarily works on workforce development issues, the Welfare Rules Database, and microsimulation modeling. Previously, he interned at the Brookings Institution and supported suburban poverty research at the University of Michigan.
Hecker graduated with a BA in public policy from the University of Michigan.
