Farnoosh Johnson is a senior web application developer in the Technology and Data Science department at the Urban Institute, where she brings her extensive experience in a variety of programming languages to her role. At Urban, she is responsible for the security, maintenance, development and redesign of Drupal websites.
Johnson first started exploring Drupal development as an undergraduate computer science student at Portland State University, managing the learning center content through the Drupal administration interface. This sparked her interest in building websites, and she received certifications on web and mobile development and Drupal site building.
She is passionate about solving technical problems and open-source development and enjoys giving back to the community as a maintainer and contributor to Drupal modules.
Before joining the Urban Institute, Johnson had several years of experience as an account manager in an advertising agency and holds a BS in agricultural engineering from University of Tehran.
