Elizabeth Forney is the director of communications operations at the Urban Institute. She manages large projects working across teams in the Communications department as they collaborate with researchers.  She spent five years as an editor at Urban, editing and producing publications and collaborating with researchers and members of the communication team. Forney previously worked at the National Academies and Georgetown University Press. Forney has a BA from George Washington University and an MA from Georgetown University.
