Elise Colin is a research analyst in the Center on Education Data and Policy at the Urban Institute, where she focuses on higher education. Before joining Urban, she directed an after-school enrichment program and conducted research assessing the impact of implicit bias on college students in the Virginia Community College system. Colin also wrote a senior thesis about the obstacles teachers in Boston and Holyoke Public Schools face while implementing an ethnic studies curriculum.

Colin received her BA in social studies from Harvard University.
