Douglas Murray is the senior director for technology in the Technology and Data Services department at the Urban Institute. He plays a key role in website support for Urban—specifically the Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center—and in new website development initiatives. On the research side, Murray is the lead programmer for Urban’s Dynamic Simulation of Income Model (DYNASIM), which is an important tool for Income and Benefits Policy Center researchers in projecting the future of Social Security and informing relevant policy decisions.
