While studying at Stanford Law School, De La Vega participated in the school’s Organizations and Transactions Clinic—providing free corporate legal services to Bay Area nonprofit organizations—and the Law and Policy Lab’s Obesity in Santa Clara County practicum, a collaboration with the County Counsel’s Office and Stanford University School of Medicine faculty. He is a recipient of the Ford Foundation Post-Graduate Fellowship in Public Interest Law and the La Raza Lawyers of Santa Clara County Charitable Foundation Merit Award.
De La Vega received his BA in psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2010 and his JD from Stanford Law School in 2014.
