Brigitte Valcin is a director for strategy and operations at the Urban Institute.

Before joining Urban, she served as deputy director for a workforce development nonprofit collaborative in Washington, DC, where she managed daily operations, supported a team of community-based organizations, and led evaluation and improvement efforts for the initiative.

Valcin holds a BA in anthropology from the University of Houston and an MS in organization development from American University.
