Aryani Ong

Aryani Ong is an Indonesian-Chinese American civil rights attorney, community leader, activist, and consultant specializing in the Asian American community and issues. She has worked with several of the leading national Asian American civil rights organizations, including Asian Americans Advancing Justice–Asian American Justice Center and OCA-Asian Pacific American Advocates. Aryani also has formed new organizations (such as the Asian American Federal Employees for Non-Discrimination, Montgomery County Progressive Asian American Network, and Communities United Against Hate), and she has held leadership roles with national and local nonprofits and political groups. She carried out a landscape study for the Harvard Civil Rights Project on Asian American national organizations in the early 2000s.
