Alexander Carther
Research Analyst
Alexander Carther is a research analyst in the Center on Labor, Human Services, and Population at the Urban Institute. He is involved in research focusing on welfare and social safety net policies. His research interests include income inequality, unemployment, and the impact of race and gender on financial health and stability. Before joining Urban, Carther supported research in the Development and Early Education Lab at Northwestern University, where he earned his undergraduate degree with a major in economics.
