Racial inequities in health
Persistent gaps in access to health care and the institutions that support healthy living, driven by a legacy of racism, have created a strong link between disparities in wealth and health. Urban’s research exposes the unequal health outcomes of Black people and other people of color and examines how reforming health policies could help close these gaps.
