Abstract
This paper presents the findings from the study of the requirement for participation in substance abuse treatment. Key issues addressed include: Notification and training of Self-Sufficiency Case Managers; Identification of customers in need of referral; Monitoring referrals to and participation in substance abuse treatment programs; and Variations in county practices with regard to referrals to and participation in substance abuse treatment programs.
