Abstract

Heather Hahn, senior fellow and co-lead of Urban’s Safety Net to Solid Ground initiative, testified before the U.S. House Education and the Workforce subcommittee on Higher Education and Workforce Development on research related to access, accountability, and other issues in supports for low income children and families. Her testimony addresses the research on work requirements in TANF, alignment of TANF and WIOA, measurement of employment outcomes, and the implications of potential expansions of work requirements in Medicaid, SNAP and other programs.
