The Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center is holding a series of online conversations on tax and fiscal policy in today’s economy. The discussions take place every other Thursday afternoon and feature varying perspectives on the historic economic challenges facing the United States and the world and the best ways to address them.
This week’s guest is Adam Ozimek, chief economist at the Economic Innovation Group. He will discuss the fast-growing trend of remote-work—thanks in large part to the pandemic—and the new tax and economic development questions local policymakers need to consider as the economy evolves.
We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals, including individuals with disabilities, to engage fully. Please email events@urban.org if you require any accommodations or have any questions about this event.
