Priyanjali (Priya) Saxena was a research assistant in the Metropolitan Housing and Communities Policy Center at the Urban Institute. Since Joining Urban in 2012, her work has focused on place-based initiatives in Washington, DC, and other US metropolitan areas. Her research interests include neighborhood and youth development, race, ethnicity and gender, social determinants of health, and two-generation initiatives.

Saxena received her BA from Bryn Mawr College.
