Nyequai Harte
Communications Manager
For change to be real and impactful, it must be grounded in data in a way that doesn’t bend for politics. Nonpartisan research helps to create a path for that. I want to help create that path, and to help inform the kind of change that improves the quality of life for those who need it most.

Nyequai Harte is a communications manager for health equity, well-being, and safety net initiatives at the Urban Institute. Before joining Urban, Harte worked at the Pew Charitable Trusts, where she developed and executed strategic communications campaigns, helping to increase visibility for projects in Pew’s government performance portfolio. She has also held several positions in nonprofit and consumer public relations and communications.

Harte received a bachelor’s degree in corporate communication from Baruch College and a master’s degree in strategic communication from American University.
