Natalie Lima is a research assistant in the Justice Policy Center at the Urban Institute, where she is a part of the community safety and policing team. Her research interests include criminal justice and prison reform, as well as wrongful convictions and exonerations.

Before Urban, Lima interned for the Innocence Project, where she analyzed legal documents to determine whether an applicant’s innocence could be proven through DNA testing.

Lima holds a BA in psychology and law, jurisprudence, and social thought from Amherst College.
