Melissa Pohutsky is a development manager at the Urban Institute, where she supports efforts to cultivate and strengthen donor relationships.

Before joining Urban in 2015 as a development assistant, Pohutsky interned for the development teams of several organizations, including World Resources Institute, Wildlands Restoration Volunteers, and the National Wildlife Federation.

Pohutsky graduated from the University of Colorado with a BA in environmental studies and a minor in economics.
