With over 15 years of experience in project management, Ms. Beshah has extensive experience managing large, complex, multi-year projects throughout her career. As Director, Center Operations of the Income and Benefits Policy Center (IBP), she works closely with the Vice President and other senior staff members to develop, coordinate, and implement IBP’s initiatives while successfully managing its day-to-day business operations. She works alongside Urban's Contracts, Finance, and Accounting departments to further define and refine the center’s yearly operation budget and review and monitor IBP’s projects, all while ensuring strict adherence to funder requirements. Ms. Beshah uses her business and project management acumen to tackle IBP’s project spending as well as deliverables and milestones for large active projects (e.g., TRIM, HPOG, TAACCCT). She manages a large research center's day to day operational processes while monitoring its financials, externally funded projects, and analyzing budgets and financial reports.
Ms. Beshah holds a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Maryland, College Park and a B.F.A. in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Virginia Beach. She is currently working towards a PMP (project management professional) certification due in late 2018.
