Lucy Hopkins recently graduated with a master of public policy from the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy at the University of Virginia. Her graduate studies primarily centered on urban, social, and sustainability policy. She completed her master’s thesis on Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) under the supervision of Institute Fellow Faith Mitchell. Previously, Hopkins worked with the Virginia Solar Initiative at the Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service, and in December 2021 Hopkins was selected as a Presidential Management Fellow for the 2022 cohort.
